El Gato Negro has been open for a month now, and we’re thrilled at just how popular we’ve been since opening our doors. Feedback has been overwhelming positive, and we’ve been consistently busier than we’d dared hope for. Heartfelt thanks to old and new customers alike for your enthusiasm and support… and thank you to Manchester for making us feel right at home in the heart of this great city!

One consequence of the restaurant’s popularity is that we’re solidly booked up at peak times for weeks ahead. Making a prior reservation for our restaurant to avoid disappointment is strongly recommended, and booking ahead is essential for peak times such as weekends. Secure a table by using our 24hr online booking system.

The good news is – even if our first floor restaurant is busy – in true Spanish style you can always sample a small selection of dishes downstairs with our ground floor bar menu. Between the ‘para picar’, charcuterie and cheeses, there’s plenty to savour while enjoying a beer, cider, paired gin and tonic, wine or sherry in relaxed settings. And unlike the restaurant there are no reservations in our bar… just walk in off the street, soak up the atmosphere and enjoy. ¡Salud!
